Tennis & Padel Courts

Low-glare court lighting for tennis and padel clubs, with optics that keep light inside the enclosure and away from neighbours.

Why courts are different

Tennis and padel are fast, high-ball sports played on small areas surrounded by fences or glass. Players serve and smash looking upward, so fixtures must stay out of their line of sight; clubs often sit next to housing, so spill beyond the fence is a planning issue.

Typical layouts

  • Tennis: poles along both sides of the court, outside the principal playing area — never at the ends behind the baseline, where they would sit in the server's eye line.
  • Padel: four or six fixtures on short poles or the enclosure frame, aimed across the court with flat-glass or asymmetric optics.

Our approach

Court floodlights with asymmetric optics allow the luminaire glass to stay near horizontal while throwing light across the court — the single most effective way to cut glare and sky glow. We provide spill calculations at the site boundary for planning applications on request.
