About this luminaire

Overview

The Apex COB Court Floodlight is designed for outdoor recreational and competitive court applications where uniform horizontal illuminance and controlled glare matter: basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts at community, club, and institutional level.

Optical Construction

An integrated COB (chip-on-board) array replaces discrete multi-chip modules, producing a single, homogeneous source that simplifies the secondary optic design and yields the 120° distribution suited to shorter mounting heights typical of court environments. Colour consistency is held within 3 SDCM, so a multi-fixture installation reads as a single white tone rather than a patchwork of slightly different hues.

Mechanical Construction

The housing is bracket-mounted and adjustable through 180° of tilt, accommodating pole tops, side-arms, and wall brackets without an adapter. At IP65 and IK08 the unit withstands dust ingress, direct water jets, and incidental mechanical impact. The driver operates on DC 24 V supplied by an AC 86–265 V linear driver, giving a wide input tolerance suitable for variable grid conditions.
