About this luminaire
Overview
The Meridian PG is a pole-mounted court floodlight designed for outdoor basketball, volleyball, and tennis installations where managing spill and glare is a primary concern. Its polarised optic shifts the beam 50° from nadir before a secondary PC lens — available in 60°, 90°, or asymmetric 70×140° — shapes the final distribution to match the playing surface without over-lighting adjacent areas.
Construction
The housing is die-cast aluminium with integral heat-sink fins, keeping the thermal path short between the 3535 SMD LED modules and ambient air. The PC lens assembly is sealed to IP65 against water and dust ingress, and the enclosure withstands IK08 impact. Electrically, the driver is electromagnetically isolated and accepts a wide AC 86–265 V input, making it straightforward to deploy across different supply voltages without additional gear.
Configuration
Four array sizes — 1, 2, 3, or 4 heads — step output from 18,000 lm to 72,000 lm in equal increments. Modules can be combined in any arrangement to suit asymmetric court layouts. The default control mode is single-colour constant output; 0–10 V dimming and DALI are available as options.
