Lighting design & photometric studies

From a site plan, the sport and the level of play, we produce a lighting layout and a full photometric calculation: horizontal and vertical illuminance grids, uniformity, glare ratings where required and spill at the boundary. Studies are prepared in industry-standard calculation software (such as DIALux) and delivered as a PDF report with the project file on request.

Option studies

Pole count, mounting height and luminaire choice are trade-offs between civil-works cost, luminaire cost and performance. We can calculate two or three layouts side by side so the decision is made on numbers.

Specification & tender support

Luminaire schedules, optic-per-position lists, mounting details and control descriptions, written so they can be dropped into a tender package.

Aiming tables

Every fixture position comes with aiming data from the study — orientation and tilt — so installers can reproduce the design on the mast.

Commissioning support

We support on-site aiming checks and post-installation measurement against the design grid, and we can review measurement results remotely.

Spill & planning documentation

Boundary and façade calculations, upward light ratios and switching schedules for planning applications near housing or protected areas.
