Scenario

A regional football stadium with four corner masts and ageing metal-halide floodlights wants to host league matches with television coverage. The masts are structurally sound; the fixtures and control gear are at end of life.

Design logic

  • Keep the existing masts and headframes — LED modules are lighter and present less wind area than the floodlights they replace.
  • Re-aim from scratch: the photometric study assigns narrow optics to far-throw positions and medium optics to the near field.
  • Visors on goal-end positions reduce glare for goalkeepers.

Result targeted by the study

League match level with improved uniformity, a lower connected load than the original system, and dimmed scenes for training.
