Overview
The Arena Shield Anti-Glare Batten is a linear luminaire designed for indoor sports venues where visual comfort and colour fidelity are critical. Its honeycomb louvre spreads light at 120° while suppressing direct glare — a key requirement on badminton, table tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts where players track fast-moving objects against a ceiling background.
Optical and Mechanical Construction
The housing is extruded from 6063-series aluminium alloy, providing a lightweight, corrosion-resistant profile. The light source uses imported 3030-format LED chips delivering efficacy of 130 lm/W at the 150 W configuration (19 500 lm) and proportional output at 250 W (32 500 lm). Two units can be paired to reach 500 W / 65 000 lm for larger halls. The electromagnetic isolation driver accepts a wide AC 86–265 V input, suited to variable mains quality.
Mounting
The batten supports ceiling suspension and bracket mounting. With a bracket, tilt adjusts up to 90°, allowing the fixture to address side walls or illuminate playing lines at oblique angles. Dimensions exclude the bracket in all configurations.
